Description:
Nga Pirihimana Hou is a documentary-style television series following the trials and tribulations of young Māori recruits attempting to forge a career with the Royal New Zealand Police.
Following on from the Ngāti Tumatauenga and Te Taua Moana series, audiences are given an insight into the challenges of the Royal New Zealand Police College in Porirua. The New Zealand Police is one of the most respected organisations in the country. Officers are trained to handle all types of situations and all types of offenders. They are responsible for reducing crime, enhancing community safety and making our country a better place, safer place.
The next 10 weeks will test the physical and mental discipline of the recruits. They will be on a steep learning curve as they become familiar with their weapons, with damage control techniques.
