Nohinohi is a preschool and Primary school targeted series of Animated Waiata (Song) Lyric videos designed for our Waiata Māori YouTube Channel.  You can find them here - Waiata Māori.

In all we created 12 Waiata for this first series;

We began this project with the acknowledgement of all the powerful work that has come before and the intention to create something that would support early language learning and strengthen connections to reo Māori for parents, caregivers and children. Our selection of a series of beloved and nostalgic waiata were reimagined with incredible musical arrangements, vocal performances and delightful animations. Nohinohi made the waiata fun, accessible and easily re-watchable on the Waiata Māori YouTube channel.

Nohinohi was our first series utilising AI in assisting with developing characters and animations.  It has gained strong viewership on our Waiata Māori YouTube channel.
